Pham Dang Huan won Vietnam Caddies Championship 2020 in the North

On July 6, 2020, the Vietnam Caddies Championship 2020 – The Northern round took place on Dai Lai golf course. The 3rd event was organized with the participation of nearly 220 golfers, caddie, golf course manager of nearly 30 golf courses in North Vietnam.

Despite the hot summer weather, golfer Pham Dang Huan – representative of Royal Golf Club won the Best Gross title with a result of 75 strokes. He said: “I am very happy with the final result. The weather was very sunny so I played quite poorly at the beginning of the tournament. But after that, I tried hard with a bit of luck and get the best result.”

“This is the 2nd time I join Vietnam Caddies Championship. In my own opinion, the tournament is very professional, it’s a really useful playground for golfers who are passionate about this sport. The tournament has brought me joy, passion, help me practicing and loving my career more.”, golfer Pham Dang Huan shared.

In addition, four members Nguyen Ta Thuan (Net 70), Nguyen Ta Muoi (Net 70), Bui Thanh Luan (Net 73), and Nguyen Van Huan (Net 73) brought back the third team cup for Long Bien golf course. Organizing Committee of Vietnam Caddies Championship 2020 has awarded certificates of participation in the World Caddy Finals in Thailand to the 4 best golfers in the tournament, including Pham Dang Huan, Nguyen Ta Thuan, Vu Thi Bac, Nguyen Thi Thu Huong.

The success of the event continues to mark a turning point for caddy in Vietnam. Meaningful events are an opportunity for those working in golf courses across the country to exchange, share their professional experiences and make their dreams come true.

“Vietnam Caddies Championship 2020” Southern region will continue to play on July 13 at Harmonie Golf Park
