Design and construction

Located right in the heart of Laguna resort, Laguna Lang Co Golf Club with 18 holes and 71 strokes. The golf course was designed by Nick Faldo – a golfer who won the Major Championship 6 times. This is the second golf course he designed in Vietnam.

With the characteristic of a links golf course connecting to the sea, the course is designed with a two-way ball path. This creates many diverse playing opportunities throughout the golf course.

Golf course features

With its majestic mountain backdrop and poetic sea view, Laguna Lang Co Golf Club offers players interesting experiences. The course has many fairways and strategic sand traps. Each hole is designed with its own unique characteristics. Creating interesting inspiration for each play.

The golf course offers unique challenges such as holes that pass through fields and hit the edge of mountains. In particular, Nick Faldo has retained 3 hectares of rice fields in the center of the golf course. Here, the designer created holes 3, 4, 13 and 15.

According to Nick Faldo, retaining the rice fields in this design helps to increase the authenticity for players. This is also very meaningful to the desire to preserve and develop the natural environment of the golf course investor – Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts Group. Each year, Laguna Lang Co Golf Club can harvest nearly 30 tons of rice from two rice crops. This amount of rice will be used for the needs of the resort and to sponsor a local orphanage.
