Dong Trieu Golf Course – Silk Path Dong Trieu Quang Ninh is conveniently located near the center of Dong Trieu city and about 30 km southeast of Ha Long city. Located on a large campus, this golf course is located in a beautiful natural landscape, with mountains and seas surrounding it, creating an ideal space for playing golf and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Golf course design
The golf course was designed by Nick Faldo, with an area of 130 hectares divided into two courses, with separate goals. The 9-hole golf course is dedicated to beginner golfers and the 18-hole Championship course is for experienced golfers. The idea of building 2 golf courses with different purposes is highly appreciated because it offers many choices for players.
With an 18-hole golf course, the main challenge lies in the terrain with natural slopes and water traps, sand traps intertwined. This requires golfers to have experience in handling the ball to achieve the best results.
Investor
Starting construction on October 24, 2021, the investor – Silk Path Golf Course Joint Stock Company officially started construction of Dong Trieu golf course project. Expected opening date is January 16, 2025
Guide to getting to the golf course
From Hai Phong:
Distance: About 50 km (~1 hour drive).
Directions: Follow Highway 10 or Hai Phong – Ha Long Expressway, then turn to Dong Trieu according to the instructions from Google Maps.
From Quang Ninh:
Distance: Depending on the location, from Ha Long about 35 km (~40 minutes).
Directions: Follow the Ha Long – Hai Phong Expressway, then turn to Dong Trieu according to the signs.
From Hanoi:
Distance: About 80 km (~1.5 hours drive).
Directions: Follow Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway or Highway 18, then turn to Dong Trieu area.
